High
June 14, 2006There are so many things in life that give you that intense feeling of euphoria that puts you on cloud nine. If only for a while, at least during those moments, the world is perfect and life is flawless.
Like the feeling of watching the winning shot of your favorite basketball team go through the hoop just as the clock ticks down to zero…
…the feeling of seeing that darn program finally work after spending endless days on it, and chugging down countless cups of coffee…
…the feeling of seeing a newborn baby smile or chuckle…
…the feeling of a first kiss…
…the feeling at that moment of realization that you have made a difference in someone’s life…
… the feeling of listening to an awesome piece of music after getting home from a tiring day out in the world…
… the feeling of blissfully laughing at a totally corny joke, realizing that it is corny, and still laughing anyway…
… and there are more.
With the numerous possibilities of life being this euphoric, I can’t see why some people even do drugs.
