in thailand
December 31, 2007the good: we are in thailand. there is wifi. mwahahaha! i'm with my parents, so I will be paying for a lot less that if I were alone or with my friends =p this is my first time out of the country.
the bad: im with my family; so basically, I go where they go on their terms. That should lessen my photo ops significantly. For one thing, I want to go to the Floating Market, and I want to be there around 8am. They plan to leave here in Bangkok at 8am, so that means we would be there around 10am. That means there will be more people, more tourists and harsher light to take photos with… Like I said, oh well. Sayang. Sayang talaga. Haay. T_T I want these types of photos!
the ugly: gaddamn roaming. i can't make any call. bakit kaya? i can text though, but all incoming and outgoing messages will cost ME (ako lang ang magshoulder ng roaming cost) an additional 20-30 pesos. oh god, wag niyo na akong i-text ng happy new year! dito nalang kayo sa blog mag-greet! hehehe.
first impressions: thailand is pretty much just like the philippines… just imagine that the people were more disciplined, the place was cleaner, and the place is on right-hand drive… seriously, if i believed in religion enough to convert into a new one, i'd convert to buddhism. just saying.
random thought: gressa was telling me, about thailand: "alam ko madaming babae dun eh, ewan ko lang kung maganda." my reply: "correction… alam ko madaming maganda dun, ewan ko lang kung babae." LOL!
and finally: since I missed posting photos for the past few days, i'm making up for it right now by posting three photos to cover the last three days, including today.
here is a photo of a photo of us siblings, circa 2001. i was around 35-40 pounds lighter. my brother was round. and, well, my sister hasn't changed much.

December 29, 2007I'm gonna be in Thailand with my family from December 31-January4. We'll be leaving here on the night of the 30th and will be there around midnight. We'll be leaving there on the afternoon of January 4. It's a relatively short trip, but hopefully it will be eventful. Sana madami akong makuhang magagandang pictures!!!
Considering that there's no internet where we're staying, the next update on this blog will appear either on the night of Jan 4 or the day after that. If there is, well, we'll see if I go online. In any case:
