December 23, 2007Here is our seven-year old, camera-shy "askal" named Golda. (Papa just has this thing for naming our dogs according to their color. Some years back, we had a black dog named Blanca… so, well… there ya go.)
I chanced upon her taking a nap, so I immediately took out my cam. As soon I had it half-pressed and it started making some sounds though, Golda started to wake up. When she saw the camera pointed at her, she quickly raised her head and gave me that stoic look that you now see here.
I have no idea how she knows it's a cam. It's like instinct. Kahit nung P&S palang ang gamit ko, she'd always hide when I took out the cam.
A forum-mate on DPP has described the photo as "eerie".
