After several months of inactivity, I hit the gym again today. Yes, para lang akong nagsunog ng pera sa hindi ko pagpunta ng gym for several months. Ouch. But to my consolation, over the past several months, there was the company basketball tournament… I has a fainting spell and was hospitalized… and the holiday season came along before we had that Bangkok trip a couple of weeks ago.

To be honest, hindi pa nga ako cleared mag-gym eh. Pasaway lang talaga ako. I’m working on my clearance though - among other things (more on these "other things" in future entries). Pero parang tanga diba? Nag-gym na ako habang nilalakad ko yung clearance ko sa doctor… Parang nagpaalam ako for something na ginawa ko na. Hehehe.

Anyway, I tried going to the gym during lunch for the first time. I usually go after work, but I changed it up now. Going to the gym during lunch offers one big advantage: Less people. This means that the machines are readily available and more importantly: Walang agawan sa locker! (woohoo!) On the other hand, the downside is that I’m really pressed for time since I have to be back in the office.

It worked out quite well. I was able to get 30 minutes out of the treadmill, cool down while eating lunch, and then take a bath before dressing up and heading back to work. That took me around 80 minutes. Not bad, imho. Kung hindi na ako maligo, baka kaya ng isang oras yun. Hahaha. YAK. =p
